Why bright eyeshadows for summer?
We don’t know a summer that’s devoid of bright colours! If you’re painting your wardrobe in bright hues of blue, pink and yellow, we suggest going that extra mile by adding colour to your eyes too! If the latest international fashion weeks are anything to go by, this summer is going to be all about bright and beautiful hues of eye makeup.
Use bright eyeshadow on the lower lash line
If you want, say a hint of blue on your brown eyes, leave your lids nude while applying the pigment on your waterline like a liner. Make sure you use an angled eyeliner brush while doing so.
Make sure you colour wisely
While you can go all out by colouring your eyes in a bright hue, what we suggest doing is focusing on one area of the eyelid to give your peepers a pop of colour. So if you’re doing a cut crease eyeshadow, add a bright orange or a bright pink on the crease!
Make concealer your base
We know you’re going to be overly excited about colouring your eyes with a bright eyeshadow. But first, make sure you apply concealer on your eyelid so that the eyeshadow pops when you place it on the eyes.
Go easy on the rest of your look
While you keep the eyes poppy, make sure you go easy on the rest of your face. Don’t go overtly bright with blush or lipstick. Go nude on the rest of your face while keeping the eyes bright and bold!
