Insanely easy DIY blotting sheets you can make in minutes!

Blotting papers are a blessing in disguise for girls with oily skin. It is one of the best ways to get rid of the shine from your face without messing up your makeup. These little sheets allow you to remove oil from your face wherever you are, without having to rush to the bathroom for a quick powder touch up. Since these sheets are so important, we found a way to make our own, and now that we’ve aced this DIY technique, we’re sharing it with you!

Whether you want to save a few bucks, don't get them easily where you live or give a handmade gift for the beauty buff in your life, this DIY technique will only take a few minutes.

You will need:

  • Unused paper toilet seat covers or soft but thick tissue papers
  • Scissors
  • Translucent setting powder
  • Small envelope or container

Step 1: Flatten out the sheets, if they have wrinkles keep them pressed under a heavy book for about a day.

Step 2: Cut your tissue or seat covers into conveniently-sized sheets or any other fun shape you desire.

Step 3: Sprinkle setting powder all over the sheets. (It adds a mattifying effect while blotting away oil.)

Step 4: Shake off the excess powder and put the sheets in the envelope or a small container to fight shine on-the-go!
