Coco Chanel
Founder of the well known French fashion brand, Coco Chanel made herself an influential figure in the fashion industry in the 20th century. She was the only fashion designer to be named on Time’s Most Important People of the Century.
"I Don't Do Fashion. I Am Fashion", her style quote, is something we swear by even today.

Donna Karan
The sole creator of the DKNY label (Donna Karan New York), she launched some exclusive designs such as the famous ‘Seven Easy Pieces’ which could all be mixed and matched to create a fully integrated wardrobe. Not only has she taught women the importance of wardrobe basics but also did men a favour by introducing her 'Signature' line for them.

Stella McCartney
Known for her feminine, sexy and flattering designs, Stella McCartney has also been a pioneer in the vegan and environmentally-conscious fashion space. Last year, she was chosen as one of the best designers for creating an eco-capsule collection for the Green Carpet Challenge in association with Net-a-Porter.

Vera Wang
Known for creating signature wedding gowns (including the one Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the Sex and the City movie,) the Vera Wang empire also includes a ready-to-wear line, diffusion line for Kohls, a tuxedo line , multiple fragrances and the highlight – her exclusive designs for figure skaters competing in international events.

Vivienne Westwood
She made modern punk fashion for women mainstream and was the first woman to draw inspiration from the 70’s punk scene in the UK, so much so that her designs on then partner Malcolm McLaren garnered her enough recognition as a designer as well landed her the job of manager for his band – the Sex Pistols! Her safety pin shirts, sky-high platform shoes, plaid pants and expertly draped dresses took the world by the storm.
