Priety Zinta has been a part of Bollywood for decades and has won our hearts with her bubbly personality and back-to-back hits. Not to mention her quirky yet doable style that we couldn’t stop recreating back in the 90s and early 2000s. So, on Preity Zinta’s 47th birthday, we are contributing to the #WeLoveYouPreityZinta trend with a list of our favourite looks by the actress and teaching you how to recreate them. Excited? Let’s begin…

- 02. Soft Yet Glam Smokey Eye
- 03. Preity’s Take on Half-Ponytail

Preity Zinta has always had a charismatic and chirpy personality. Whether it’s onscreen or offscreen, her presence is extremely pleasant. And this particular look was so on-brand for her. That colourful accent strand is minimal yet colourful and fun. In our opinion, this is a great look for college, work, or brunch with friends.
All you need for this hairstyle is a few technicolour hair beads. Comb your hair and separate a little piece of hair. Now start clipping the beads on the separated strand. Keep adding the beads till you’re happy with how it’s looking and you’re done!

One thing we’ve noticed over the years, in almost every movie, is that Preity Zinta loves her kajal. Her characters were seen rocking kajal in almost every movie. But something about this look from ‘Maahi Ve’ is just breathtaking. The way her makeup and hair tie with the attire is nothing less than perfection.
To recreate this look, apply a rich black kajal like the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal on your top and bottom waterline. Don’t worry about it getting messy; apply the kajal on your lash line as well. Then, take a small brush and smudge to create a smokey effect. Swipe on heaps of mascara on your lashes and pair it with a nude lipstick like the Lakmé Precision Lip Paint - Alluring Nude.
03. Preity’s Take on Half-Ponytail

These days hairdos are all about laying your hair as flat as possible. But in the 90s, our stars loved the volume! In this iconic photoshoot, Preity Zinta is seen sporting everyone’s favourite, a scrunchie. But the way she styles something as ordinary as a rubber band is simply spectacular.
You will need two or three scrunchies for this hairstyle. Start by blowdrying your hair upside down to get that extra bounce. Now, part your hair as you would for a half-up ponytail. Secure the ponytail in place with the first scrunchie. Repeat the process with another scrunchie to make your ponytail stand taller on the crown.

Is Preity Zinta the pioneer of messy buns and lip gloss? We think so! This is a look that is still trendy and we can only dream of looking as effortlessly gorgeous as the actress. The voluminous messy bun with a few wispy strands falling out, paired with a clear lip gloss is ideal for every outfit and occasion.
For this laidback and fabulous look, wash your hair with a volumising shampoo like the Love Beauty & Planet Natural Coconut Water & Mimosa Volume Shampoo. A fabulous volumising shampoo that contains 100% natural coconut water and smells like a vacay on a beach thanks to the Moroccan mimosa flowers in it. After drying your hair upside down, tie it in a low messy bun and pull out a few loose pieces of hair.
Swipe on a clear lip gloss on your lips and that's about it. Coat your lashes with a volumising mascara such as the Lakmé Absolute 3D Lash Volumizer Mascara to nail the look!
