The fashion month has begun; after giving us major style and beauty inspiration at New York and London, it has now moved to Milan. With international designers showcasing their latest collection amid the pandemic, there was a lot to look out for. The makeup artists and hairstylists presented a balance of both classics as well as some never-seen-before, trendy hair and makeup looks.
Below, we have rounded up the best hair and makeup moments spotted at the Milan Fashion Week SS 2021. Along with our favourite products that will help you get the look.
- Slicked back hair and bright lips
- Eyeshadow draping
- Bright yellow arcs

The models at Max Mara sashayed on the runway sporting various hues of bright red lipsticks that complemented their undertone. The rest of the face was kept bare and hair slicked back to tie the whole look together.

One of the most stunning makeup trends spotted on the runway was eyeshadow draping. Makeup artist Inge Grognard added fuchsia eyeshadow on the eyelids of Blumarine models and draped it along the temples to create this gorgeous eye look.

To complement the bright and happy hues of Daniela Gregis’ collection, the makeup artist drew bold lemon yellow lines on the model’s eyelids and lower lips. The hair was wrapped in a scarf or kept natural.

Silver inner corners

Makeup artist Patrick Glatthaar highlighted the inner corners of the eyes for the models walking the ramp at N21. The silver inner corner highlight complemented the collection very well. Tousled and textured hair with a bare face tied the look together.

Peach cheeks

A major makeup lesson we learned from makeup artist Diane Kendal at Alberta Ferretti is that sometimes swirling a little bit of peach blush across the cheeks is all you need to elevate the look.
