It’s been over four months since we’ve been self-isolating and practising social distancing, and while we don’t exactly miss our hectic schedules, we surely do miss waking up each morning and putting on some makeup.
We are guessing our B-Town beauties are feeling the same way, which is why we are seeing more and more celebrities putting on a full face of makeup only to chill at home. Just yesterday, the lovely Bhumi Pednekar posted a video on Instagram where she’s seen doing her own makeup. We can’t help but obsess over her brown monochrome makeup look and TBH, the whole process of watching her do her own makeup was a feast for the eyes.
Want to know how to recreate it? Well, read on to find out…
Step 01: Base

A good base is the foundation of great makeup look. After your skincare routine, start by applying the Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer and follow it up with the Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Perfect Cover Foundation. Apply a tiny amount of the Lakme Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer over places where you need extra coverage.
Step 02: Eyes and brows

Next, it is time to move on to the eyes. Start by applying a neutral eyeshadow shade all over your lids to help even out any discolouration. Next, using the dark brown shade from the Lakme Absolute Infinity Eye Shadow - Soft Nudes palette, apply it all over your lid. Take a bit of the same colour on a stiff angled brush and create a winged liner using the same shade. Lastly, curl your lashes and add a bit of drama to them by using the Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara. For your brows, use a spoolie to comb and tame them. Next, take the Lakme Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil and fill in your brows to add more definition to your face.
03: Cheeks

To get that beautiful bronzy-glow like Bhumi, start with applying a bit of the darker Lakme Absolute Highlighter – Moon Lit just under your cheekbones. Using the lighter shade from the same palette, highlight the high points of your face for that luminous glow. Next, take the Lakme 9 to 5 Pure Rouge Blusher - Ginger Surprise and apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a beautiful flush of colour.
04: Lips

To pucker up your pout, line your lips using a soft brown lip pencil. You can use the Lakme Perfect Definition Lip Liner Pencil - 11 Cocoa Fudge for this. Next, go over it with the Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color - Natural Nude and dab off the excess colour. Lastly, apply a bit of the Lakme Absolute Plump And Shine Lip Gloss - Beige Shine to the centre of your lips to fake a fuller point.
With this, your super simple and quick monochrome brown makeup look is ready to slay!
