Lakmé Fashion Week has been supporting the cause of sustainable fashion for almost two decades now. Every season, Day 2 of the Lakmé Fashion Week is dedicated to sustainable fashion, where emerging designers showcase their zero waste clothing. This season the ‘phygital’ fashion week continued to follow the tradition.
To match the vibe of the day, sustainable hair accessories and bold eye looks ruled the runway on Day 2. Hairstylists and makeup artists left no stone unturned to bring the most creative looks on the ramp. If you are looking for some fresh and trendy ways to include a scarf in your hairdo or brighten up your eye look this summer, here’s some inspiration right off the runway.
- Bushy brows and feathered white eyeshadow
- Swipe of blue
- Space buns with mismatched scarves
- Finger waves and scarves
- Headwrap with messy curls
Bushy brows and feathered white eyeshadow
Chola The Label’s show brought heaps of creativity on the ramp, both in terms of fashion and beauty looks. Heavily filled-in bushy brows and white feathered eyeshadow look perfectly complemented the label’s stunning black and white themed collection.
Swipe of blue
Now here’s a makeup trend that we haven’t even spotted on international runways! The models at the Khanijo show had zero makeup on and just a swipe of blue colour across their brows that looked both bold and refreshing!
Space buns with mismatched scarves
We spotted this messy space bun with mismatched scarves tied around it at the Circular Design Challenge and instantly fell in love! One of the easiest ways to beat the heat in summer is by throwing your hair into an effortless bun. And this hairdo is all the inspiration you need to take your look a notch higher this season.
Finger waves and scarves
We loved the bright, colourful silk scarves situation at the Cocccon: A Circular Story Of Peace Silk show. Finger waves peeped right through the pretty scarves and were the cherry on the cake. We can’t wait to try this trendy hairdo.
Headwrap with messy curls
Scarves are ruling the runway, and how! It is safe to say that it's going to be a major trend this season. This headwrap with messy curls hairdo we witnessed at the Circular Design Challenge looks so effortlessly stylish and apt for the summer season.
