October (2018) famed Banita Sandhu never fails to impress with her street style glam skills. The 23-year old doubles up as a makeup and hair influencer in her free time and looks she turns out are so good. Sporting her signature full lips in a pigmented shade and a pop of colour on the eyes, Banita knows how to dress up even the most basic ensembles and we can’t help but drool over it. A recent makeup look posted by her has caused quite a stir as well; sitting pretty on International Women’s Day, her hot pink colour pop makeup look has left makeup enthusiasts double tapping her post all day. Well, we got wind of this and wanna help out; check out this simple guide on recreating Banita’s look in 4 simple steps.

Step 01: Base Since it is a daytime ultra glam look, you need a budge-proof base to avoid the makeup from melting off in the heat. After your moisturiser and sunscreen, apply a medium coverage coat of the Lakmé 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Perfect Cover Foundation; it is buildable so you can layer it on for a full coverage as well.
Step 02: Eyes Move on to the eyes, start with an eyeshadow primer to make the pink pop. Swipe your lids with the pink pigment of your choice from the Lakmé Absolute Spotlight Eyeshadow Palette - Berry Martini. Use a blending brush to create a crescent shape and follow it up by tight-lining your lid with the Lakmé Eyeconic Liner Pen Fine Tip. Finish the eye look with the Lakmé Absolute 3D Lash Volumizer.
Step 03: Contour Use the peachy pigment of the Lakmé 9 to 5 Pure Rouge Blusher under your cheekbones for a light contour. Follow it up with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick highlighter on the apple of your cheeks, bridge of the nose, chin and cupid’s bow.
Step 04: Lips To recreate Banita’s signature plump pout, line it with the Lakmé Absolute 3D Lip Definer - Sepia. Next, using a lipstick brush, fill in the creamy formula of the Lakmé Cushion Matte - Brown Sugar in the rest of your lip. Make sure to blend it out with a liner for a seamless finish.
