This World Goth Day channel your Goth persona with these makeup ideas...

Let’s face it, back in high school we have all had a Goth phase. We’ve all (at some point) loved them Goth characters and looks, with black nails and short bangs. And now that Goth is making a comeback on the runways, we thought this World Goth Day will be a good time to revisit some Goth makeup ideas.

Here are three Gothic makeup looks that you can try to bring out the Goth in you. Take a look...

Goth OTT

Step 1: Pick a foundation in your shade and apply it evenly all over your face and neck.

Step 2:  For the eyes, get hold of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Silver and apply the grey shade onto your lids. Now take the black shade and apply it on the outer edge of the lids and blend inwards. Line your eyes with the Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal - Bold Black and smudge to create a smokey effect.

Step 3: Buff some Lakmé 9 to 5 Naturale Finishing Powder - Universal Shade on your face for a sheer, matte finish.

Step 4: Finish this look with bold burgundy lips using the Lakmé Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color - Wine n Dine.

Step 1: Apply the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse 16hr foundation on your face for a matte base.

Step 2:  Fill in your brows with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Eyebrow Pencil - Natural Black to create dark, fuller brows.

Step 3: Then take the Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal - Deep Black and line the upper lid and create a sharp wing. On the lower lash line, draw tiny dots using the kajal for the dotted Goth eye look.

Step 4: Rock a nude pout with this look using the Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color - Blush Velvet and let your eyes do all the talking.

Step 1: Apply the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation With SPF 45 on your face for a dewy look.

Step 2:  Gothic makeup doesn’t have to be ‘all black’ always. Sport soft brown lids using the brown shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette - French Rose and blend the colour on the upper and lower lid. Team it with couple coats of mascara.

Step 3: Flush your cheeks with Lakmé Face Sheer Blusher - Sun Kissed for a bronzed look.

Step 4: Finally dress your lips in deepest, darkest maroon. We suggest using Lakmé 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Lip Color - Sangria Weekend. And, you’re done.
