Desi Daze! How To Recreate Kangana Ranaut’s Traditional Beauty Look
Written by Pratishtha RanaSep 12, 2021
Actress Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Thalaivii on September 10. Truth be told, we’re mighty impressed with how Kangana has nailed the portrayal of former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha down to the tee. The stunner has been sharing back-to-back beauty looks from her promotional tours on Instagram. And, the latest one has us awestruck.
Kangana is decked in a bright yellow silk saree, chunky gold jewellery, gajra and, of course, impeccable makeup. It’s a perfect look to try for weddings and festive celebrations. Lucky for you, here’s a guide on how to recreate Kangana Ranaut’s traditional beauty look like a pro.
Step 1: First, you need to even out your skin tone, blur out blemishes and perfect your base. Dot the Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Primer all over your face and blend it with your fingertips.
Step 2: To achieve a dewy look like Kangana, dot the Lakmé Absolute 3D Cover Foundation on your face and neck. Blend it nicely with a foundation brush or damp beauty blender in a downward direction.
Step 5: To accentuate your facial features and get Kangana’s illuminated look, sweep the Lakmé Absolute Highlighter - Moon-Lit on your brow bone, top of the cheekbone, nose and cupid’s bow.
Step 6: For that traditional touch, put a tiny red on your forehead and draw a white line right below it.
Eyes and lips
Step 1: To recreate that brown smoky effect like Kangana, take the Lakmé Absolute Infinity Eye Shadow Palette - Soft Nudes, and dab a soft brown shade on your eyelids. Layer up a darker shimmer brown hue on it for a smoky finish.
Step 3: Ditch the black kohl and use brown eyeliner on the upper lash line and on your lower lash line too.
Step 4: Now, define your eyelashes with 2-3 coats of Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara and let your eyes do the rest of the talking.
