Get the look: Parineeti Chopra’s grunge eye makeup look

With the wide range of characters she has portrayed on-screen, Parineeti Chopra has established one thing for sure — she hates playing it safe. The actress channels her bold and experimental side off-screen, too, by rocking some of the most badass makeup looks.

As the actress gears up for the release of one of her most expected films yet, The Girl On The Train, Parineeti has been giving us beauty buffs major makeup inspirations off late. In one of her recent posts, the Ishaqzaade actress is seen relaxing in a cosy woollen jumper and a dressy pleated skirt. She paired this stylish attire with some grunge metallic eye makeup, and we’re obsessed. This look is perfect for elevating a casual outfit and making it look 10 times chicer.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you ace Pari’s uber-glam metallic eye makeup look.

Step 01: To achieve the flawless matte base like Parineeti’s, you need some good skin prep. After applying your favourite hydrating moisturiser, go in with a mattifying primer such as the Lakme Absolute Undercover Gel Primer. Apply this all over your face in a patting motion, concentrating more on the areas that tend to get oily such as the T-zone and cheeks.

Step 02: For the base, dot your face and neck with a matte foundation like the Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Perfect Cover Foundation and blend it into your skin with a brush or damp makeup sponge for a streak-free finish. Next, conceal any visible skin imperfections such as undereye circles, pigmentation and blemishes with the Lakme Absolute Mattreal Mousse Concealer.

Step 03: Now that your base is done, it’s time to add a little colour to your face. Swipe on some of the darker shade from the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos - Rose Blush onto your cheekbones.

Step 01: Start with applying some nude eyeshadow shade Lakme Absolute Infinity Eye Shadow Palette - Soft Nudes to your lids. It acts as a base, plus is the perfect transition shade.

Step 02: Now, take the blue eyeshadow from the Lakme 9 to 5 Eye Color Quartet Eye Shadow - Royal Peacock and pack it all over your lids. Blend the colours using a fluffy blending brush to get rid of any harsh lines. Take the same colour and apply it to the lower lash line as well. Blend it out for a soft, smokey finish.

Step 03: Using the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – Deep Black, tight line the upper and lower waterline to further define your eyes. Step 04: Finish your eye makeup by curling your lashes with an eyelash curler and apply two coats of the Lakme Absolute 3D Lash Volumizer Mascara to make your lashes look fuller and longer.

Step 01: Parineeti kept her lip makeup super subtle to balance out the striking grunge eye makeup. To achieve this, start with hydrating your lips with the Vaseline Lip Therapy Vitamin E - Original. Apply generously all over your lips and allow it to sit on your lips for a few minutes before moving onto the next step.

Step 02: Next, wipe off the excess lip balm and apply a single coat of the Lakme Absolute Plump And Shine Lip Gloss - Beige Shine on your lips to complete this badass makeup look.
