Stylist, designer and film producer Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend producer/director Karan Boolani. Although it was an intimate ceremony at her Mumbai home, it took the internet by storm in no time. Rhea was dressed in a white ensemble and decked in an exquisite, custom pearl veil on the head. Her makeup look was equally unique and striking — we were in awe!

In a nutshell, Rhea Kapoor nailed her bridal avatar for an at-home wedding. Her key colour palette of white, beige and golden was a bold departure from classic reds and hot pinks. Now, with the festive and wedding season almost here, we think Rhea’s minimal yet glam makeup and hairstyle is perfect for beauty buffs and soon-to-be brides who wish to elevate their look in the dreamiest way ever. We break down the stunning bride’s wedding look here.

Rhea Kapoor’s wedding beauty look

Step #1: Minimal makeup base

Rhea’s wedding makeup was created by none other than leading MUA, Namrata Soni. The celebrity bride chose to keep her overall look minimal and very subtle, indicating that loud and bright makeup looks are a thing of past now.
Her base was primarily matte with hints of sheen. She added a touch of rosy blush on her cheeks and highlighted her cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin with an illuminating highlighter.

Step #2: All attention on the eyes

The focus was evidently on her eyes. Rhea went ahead with a soft brown eyeshadow on the lids with a tinge of shimmer. What gave her eyes the real drama is that extended sweep of the wing eye liner, drawn in an upward direction towards the end of her brows. She completed the look with a kohl liner drawn on the waterline and right below the lash line.

Step #3: Let the lips talk

Rhea not only ditched the classic red colour in her attire but also in her makeup. The gorgeous gal chose a matte pink shade for her lips and we totally approve of it! To keep your lipstick from budging, make sure to fill your lips with a lip pencil before gliding on the lipstick.

Step #4: Heavenly hair

Again, instead of going for a typical wedding hair bun, Rhea didn’t shy away from flaunting her long, lustrous locks. She let it loose and went for a middle-parting. Her only accessory was the pearl mesh veil that she wore on her head like a crown — hail queen. Isn’t that so poetic and fascinating?
