Dutch Braid

This braid can easily be done for short hair. It is more like the reverse French braid. And it goes well with all kinds of looks. So, what are you waiting for? Grab a comb and start braiding your hair in this super stylish manner.
How To Go About It:
- Separate your hair at the top into three even sections.
- Braid your hair with the sections being placed in a left under, right under pattern. If you don’t already know the pattern, you just have to weave the left piece of your hair under the centre piece, then the right under the centre, grabbing and adding small sections of your hair each time as you move towards the tip.
- Once you reach the nape, continue with a regular 3-strand braid.
- Secure it with elastic.
Headband Braid

Elegant and stylish, this braid will make you look really classy and distinguished. This braid style is quite like an accessory by itself. Enjoy those complimenting glances as you enter wearing this braid.
How To Go About It:
- Separate your hair down the middle into two equal parts.
- Take a handful of hair from the left side and separate it into three parts.
- Follow the Dutch braid steps. Continue braiding till you reach the hairline and secure it at the top of your head.
- Do the same on the right side and wrap it around your head from the other end, making the two meet.
- Wrap the end of the second around the first braid and pin it in place.
Crown Braid

A crown braid is a half-up and half down braid that will suit any and all outfits that you wear. And fashioning this one is easy as a breeze. Follow the steps given below to form this absolutely stunning and royal looking braid.
How To Go About It:
- Part your hair down the middle. Take a one-inch strand from the right side and make a classic three-strand braid. Secure it with elastic.
- Do the same on the left side.
- Pull the braids behind your head and criss-cross them together.
- Secure it with pins underneath one another.
Double Side Braid

A double side braid looks good on short hair as well as on long. Hide those extra bits of hair that tend to poke out though by covering them or securing them with pins.
How To Go About It:
- Take a one-inch section of hair from near your hairline and separate it into three smaller sections.
- Make a French braid starting from the right to the left.
- Secure it with elastic.
- Do the same about an inch away from where you’d made the braid earlier.
- Pin back the braids in their places using pins.
