The festive season is here in full swing and we are sure that you beauty buffs are all set to make a glamorous impression with your Navratri looks. And while we are sure that you have decided your beauty and hair looks sorted, have you thought of the harm all that styling is going to do to your hair?
While you were busy colour-coordinating your outfits, we thought about humidity and what it does to your hair. Read on as we come up with some easy ways to fight frizzy hair so you don’t have to compromise on your glam quotient…
Use a hydrating hair mask

Regular hair styling robs hair off its natural moisture, making it look dull and lifeless. Using a hydrating mask once a week will not only retain moisture but will also make it look incredibly shiny. Combine banana, honey and plain yogurt to form a thick paste and leave it on your hair for 30-45 minutes before washing it off.
Don’t skip conditioner

No matter what your hair and scalp type, never skip a conditioner. It restores all the moisture back into the hair that is lost during shampooing. We recommend the TRESemmé Hair Spa Rejuvenation Conditioner which is infused with hydrating marine minerals complex and essential nutrients that will give your hair the benefits of a spa at home.
Hot oil massage

We cannot stress enough on the importance of a good hair massage. Use some warm coconut or olive oil on the lengths of your hair and leave it overnight to get the best results post hair wash the next day. Trust us your hair will thank you.
Use a heat protectant
It is hard to resist yourself from straightening or curling your hair using your favourite styling tools. Well you don’t have to, simple spray a heat protectant prior to styling. We trust the Toni&Guy Heat Protection Mist, a high temperature protection, as it minimizes hair damage and conditions hair to give a smoother finish.
Use a satin pillow cover

Believe it or not your cotton pillow cover pulls hair fibres and creates friction at night making your hair frizzy. Use a satin pillow cover or simply tie a silk scarf around your hair before sleeping and wake up with smooth hair.
