Your custom maid hair care regimen…

Step 1 – Start with an oil treatment for your hair. Massage an ayurvedic oil like the Indulekha Bringha Hair Oil onto your hair really well.
Step 2 – Steam your oiled hair and let the oils seep into your scalp and moisturise it.
Step 3 – Now wash off the oil with a mild shampoo like the Dove Nutritive Solutions.
Step 4 – Apply a conditioner that works for you like always.
Different oils you can use for oil massages

There are all kinds of oils you can use to treat your hair at home. Olive oil for example is for long luscious hair and thick hair, coconut oil is for faster growth, Argan oil is for conditioning your hair and scalp. You can get a bunch of these and girls can use it on each other, make a massage train out of it.
Ways you can steam your hair

You can steam your hair with hot towels. To do this, boil hot water and dip your towel in the hot water and rinse lightly. Now wrap your hair tightly in the hot towel and leave it in for about 15-20 minutes. Another way you can steam your tresses is by heating your wet towel in the microwave, wrap your hair in it and run a hairdryer over it with intervals. You can alternate between these two techniques. These methods of steaming will help you cleanse your hair, retain moisture and stimulate growth. After steaming your hair, do remember to wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
Hair masks you can DIY

You can use a bunch of ingredients for your hair! Ingredients like avocados, honey, coconut cream, bananas, eggs, yogurt, olive oil and curd are all great for hair.
Some of the combinations you can use are as follows…
-1 Avocado and 2 spoons of honey
- Coconut cream and 1banana
- A spoonful of Apple cider vinegar and 2 spoons of honey
- Almond milk and 2 spoons of honey
- 2 spoons of Coconut oil and 2 spoons of honey
Apply the hair mask of your choice and then wrap your hair up in a shower cap and leave it for about 30-35 minutes. Let the mask work on your hair and smoothen its texture. Once dry, wash the mask off with a mild shampoo. Then use a deep conditioner like always.
Sounds like the perfect way to relax and pamper yourself, amidst all the wedding madness doesn’t it!
