Now, let’s be honest. Who doesn’t want thick, luscious locks?

While most women are blessed with long, healthy hair, some struggle with issues such as hair loss, stunted hair growth and hair thinning. If you belong to the latter category, we feel you. That’s why we’ve come up with a ridiculously easy solution to put all your hair woes to rest -  a DIY hair mask that is completely natural and oh-so-effective!

And the best part about this hair mask is that it uses two ingredients that are easily available in your pantry. Awesome, right? So, let’s begin.

What you need to prepare a DIY neem hair mask:

What you need to prepare a DIY neem hair mask:

  • 10-12 fresh neem leaves – the vitamin E present in neem leaves promotes collagen production, improves elasticity and stimulates dormant hair follicles.
  • 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil – the moisturising properties of coconut oil help hydrate your scalp and prevent breakage, leading to better hair growth.

How to:

Step 01: Take the neem leaves and thoroughly wash them

Step 02: Add these curry leaves to a blender, add some water to it and blend until it forms a smooth paste

Step 03: Once blended, place a bowl in some boiling water and transfer the neem paste to this bowl

Step 04: Add the coconut oil to this paste and keep stirring continuously until the paste changes colour and becomes darker

Step 05: Strain this paste until the paste and liquid separate

Step 06: Apply this mask all over hair and scalp and massage for a couple of minutes

Step 07: Leave it on for about 30 to 40 minutes and wash off as usual.

If you want faster results include a neem based shampoo in your hair care routine. The Lever Ayush Anti Dandruff Neem Shampoo is an excellent choice for anyone looking to get all the benefits of this natural ingredient.
