Braided or not—we love buns in all their forms! But ladies, no updo in the world can beat a sleek voluminous bun placed up top. Agree? A ballerina bun is one such versatile and elegant hairdo that has been a red carpet staple for years now and is equally apt for a day out in summer as it saves you some messy, sweaty hair moments and keeps your locks away from the face. Can’t wait to try the look this season? Here’s how you can pull off a perfect ballerina bun in easy steps…
- Hair brush
- 5-6 U-shaped pins
- 1 Bun donut
- 2 Hair ties
Brush your hair and pull it into a ponytail. Place the ponytail high on the crown for best results and secure with a clear hair tie.
Take a bun donut and run your ponytail through it in a way that it is around your hair tie now. Spread your ponytail onto the donut covering it all with your hair.
Once the bun donut is hidden with ponytail hair, secure it with a hair tie. The bun should look like a donut and your bun maker shouldn’t be visible.
Wrap the remaining ends of hair around the bun and tuck it in using hair pins. Use the U shaped pins to secure the bun and keep it in place.
Spritz Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray and brush your hair to tame any hair fly or baby hair. It will lend some shine and give you a neat look. There you’re done!
