For us beauty enthusiasts, it can't get bigger than Fashion Week. And if there's one thing that truly stands out on the runway in the beauty arena (apart from the makeup) it is the hairdo. From sleek hair to braided buns, various hairstyles made the cut on the runway of Day 1 at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016. Here's more about them...

Braided buns at Archana Rao

Braided buns at Archana Rao

The Frou Frou models had their hair game on point with pretty braided buns on display. Low buns worn with a romantic braid on the side—it was the kind of hair you'd love to flaunt at a formal do.

How to get Archana Rao’s hair look:

Separate your hair in a side parting. Take three strands of hair of medium width from one side and begin braiding them along your hairline. Have this braid go all along your hairline and behind your ear. Coil your hair into a low bun taking the braid into the bun and follow this up by securing with U-pins. Finish off by spraying your bun with the TIGI Bed Head Maxxed Out Hair Spray. But remember to keep some flyaways on display since this hairdo needs to have a soft, messy feel to it.

Sleek hair at Huemn

Sleek hair at Huemn

When it's Huemn displaying their work of genius, you ought to be a spectator. Sure, their unique collection had our nods but if you witnessed the hairdos on the runway, you would've cheered just as much as us. Middle parted sleek poker straight hair complemented the collection beautifully. So much so that we can’t wait to ape the look for our next party!

How to get Huemn's hair look:

Opt for a middle parting before you get on with styling. Reach out for the TIGI Catwalk Hair Session Series Wet Look and apply it on your hair so it looks sleek and sexy. Comb the front part of your hair down and secure it in place by putting bobby pins behind your ears. Let the rest of your hair fall naturally.

Coiled hair buns at Anupama Bose

Coiled hair buns at Anupama Bose

Perfectly in sync with her leheriya couture was the hair at Anupama Bose’s show. Coiled buns made their appearance on the runway and boy did we want to play copycats to the looks of what!

How to get Anupama Bose’s hair look:

Divide your hair into a middle parting and comb it back. Then, start twisting it tightly; once you are done twisting the whole length of hair, coil it into a vertical bun that sits at the nape of your neck. Secure it with a transparent rubber band leaving the edges rough on top. You can choose to secure it further by way of bobby pins. Spray on some TIGI Bedhead Masterpiece Massive Shine Spray to ensure that the bun stays in place while giving your hair a natural shine!
