Braids are versatile. You can wear them loose and messy or tight and close to the scalp and they look great on all lengths of hair! But a new trend took over the beauty world – micro braids. They mimic the look of an undercut and can be worn as a subtle accent to your hairstyle.

Messy buns

Meghan Markle has been single-handedly making the messy bun look popular this year. Wear it with a few strands left loose to frame your face and you have a very feminine, elegant hairstyle. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Princess Eugenie also rocked this look at their weddings!

Purple hair

The Pantone colour for 2018 was Ultra Violet, and we saw a lot of interpretations as hair colour. Purple lends itself very well to hair colour and can be used as a highlight or as an all-over colour.

Fringes

Curtain bangs or fringes surged in popularity in 2018. Fringes that gradually increased in length and merged into the longer strands at the sides were seen on many a Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities alike.

This particular shade was all the rage in 2018. Not entirely brown, yet not quite silver, this colour is a moody alternative to girls who like to experiment. It can be used as highlights or as a balayage, both look stunning on Indian hair!
