There are a lot of similarities between a teacher and a beauty blogger. They are both experts in their field, have years of experience, don’t shy away from giving away free advice and want you to learn and present your best self to the world! So, this Teacher’s Day, we are giving our favourite beauty bloggers a huge shout-out by thanking them for sharing their one trusty beauty tips and hacks, and for also giving us the best makeup advice ever!

As makeup junkies, one of our favourite weekend activities is ordering makeup online. We’ve learnt one lesson though – never order foundation online because you might end up with the wrong shade. Just when we were about to throw it away, blogger Shreya Jain came to our rescue with her quick-fix solution. Pump out foundation on the back of your wrist, mix your favourite moisturiser in it and done! Make your foundation a shade lighter in a jiffy!
Deepika Mutyala (@deepica)
Have you ever been stuck with an eyeshadow palette that barely has any pigmentation? Well, we have and thank God we turned to Deepika Mutyala for help! She says you should not underestimate a primer, so we have been religiously applying primer on our eyelids as well. Next use a white eyeliner on your eyelid before starting your eye makeup.

Running out of makeup setting spray when you need it the most is a common situation that most women face. Therefore, it is essential to have a quick DIY technique up your sleeve. As Debasree shows in one of her YouTube videos, simply mix three tablespoons of rose water with one tablespoon of glycerine, transfer the mixture into a spray bottle and use it as a makeup setting spray!

Unruly brows have a mind of their own and sometimes, no matter what you do, they never seem to look even and tamed. A quick-fix solution we learned from Devina Malhotra is taming them with dry shampoo and a mascara wand. Take a clean mascara wand, spray some dry shampoo on it and run it across your brows to tame them instantly.

Long, hot showers are very tempting especially after a tiring day. But bubbling temperature is not ideal for your skin. Extreme water temperatures can make your skin dry and rough. No matter how relaxing it sounds ditch the idea and take lukewarm showers. Your skin will thank you, says Gia.
