Nora Fatehi shimmied and sashayed her way into our hearts and we are in awe of her dancing talents. One other thing that she does absolutely like a pro is experiment with colours in her makeup. From bright red eye shadow to subtle yellow, she aces the eye look every time. We scrolled through her Instagram feed and picked out some awesome looks that we can learn from.

We love the coppery orange halo around Nora’s eyes in this look. We also loved the fact that the eyeshadow matches the lip colour.

How pretty is this look! A light teal eyeshadow on the outer 2/3rds of the eye takes the look to a new level.

Pro tip: If you do not have eyeshadow in your preferred colour, you can use an eye pencil and smudge it to get the shadow effect.

Go matchy matchy with your outfit and apply an eyeshadow in the same colour as your outfit! Pink is an easy colour to experiment with, as it lends easily to eye makeup.

We absolutely love the pop of colour on Nora’s eyes. The colour starts off as a yellow/ochre at the inner corner and becomes a deep red as it approaches the outer corner of the eye. This right here is a lesson in blending eyeshadows!

Pro tip: For more variety in colours, experiment with eye and lip pencils in different colours. These pencils are waxy in consistency, blend well and last long!

She again wins with a bright pop of colour on her eyes, but this time she pairs a bright red with a hint of purple on the outer crease. What’s not to love!

Try: Using a red eye pencil like the Kareena Kapoor Khan Lakmé Absolute Lip  Definer in Crimson and blend well for a similar look. Use the purple shade from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Silver for the crease.
