The white part of the orange skin contains d-limonene, which acts as a solvent cleaner and whitens teeth naturally. After peeling the orange, rub the white part of it against your teeth and allow the juice to stay on your teeth for about 3 minutes. Finish this off by brushing your teeth normally after having used the orange peels. Remember that you would need to do this for over 2 weeks for best results.
Pulling coconut oil
Coconut oil pulling is nothing but a process of using coconut oil as a mouthwash. Coconut oil contains lauric acid which can kill the bacteria found in plaque that makes the teeth yellowish. This acid also helps your overall gum health thus keeping your teeth healthy. Before you brush in the morning, take a tablespoon of coconut oil, swish it between your teeth for about 20 minutes. Rinse off with water and follow it up by brushing.
Lemons contain bleaching properties and can transform yellow teeth into white. Gargle with lemon juice to get the best effects. Do this for about two weeks to get rid of bacteria and tartar from your teeth.
