The other day we were discussing our Valentine’s Day plan at the Be Beautiful office; while some are quite excited about it, others are not a big fan. But standing true to our theme this month – self-love, there’s one thing we all agreed upon, and that is pampering ourselves to our heart’s content!
So whether you’re dating or single AF, take this day an opportunity to pamper yourself with some self-care rituals. Although these are important throughout the year, they are all the more important on a day dedicated to love. Don’t know where to start? Here are a few ideas you can steal from Team BeBe.
- “Book a mani-pedi session” – Fatema Habib, Senior Beauty Writer
- “Treat myself to a bubble bath” – Mitalee Rawat, Design Lead
- “Take myself out for lunch” – Sohini Chowdhury, Social Media Executive
- “Pampering myself to a hair spa” – Anjali Agarwal, Features Writer
- “Put on a face mask and sip wine” – Urvi Dalal, Senior Beauty Writer
“Book a mani-pedi session” – Fatema Habib, Senior Beauty Writer

I love indulging in a mani-pedi sesh at the Lakme Salon; I think it’s the best way to treat yourself. Their Candy Crush manicure is such a sweet treat minus the calories! I am a regular at the salon; once a month. But this time I’ve decided to pamper myself with an extra session and maybe combine it with some skin treatments.

For me, the best way to unwind is to treat myself to a bubble bath and some soothing music. I’ve been so caught up at work that I don’t remember the last time I did something for myself (ordering pancakes after lunch doesn’t count, okay?)

Do you have a favourite restaurant, perhaps a meal that you can never get bored of? I do, so that’s how I am pampering myself this Valentine’s Day. For one day I am going to avoid all thoughts about calories and just go have a hearty meal all by myself!

My forever frizzy hair keeps asking for some TLC, but I end up spending all my money on shopping. Now that I don’t have room for new clothes, I think accompanying Fatema for a hair spa at the Lakme Salon on Valentine’s Day would make me, my tresses and my friend happy.
“Put on a face mask and sip wine” – Urvi Dalal, Senior Beauty Writer

Post marriage, I haven’t had a day all by myself. Seriously, why do we have so many post-wedding rituals? So, instead of spending this Valentine’s Day with my husband, I am going to put on a face mask, sip some wine and read a book.
