- Fruit mask
This is the simplest DIY facemask for glowing skin. We all know that fruits are all good and no bad - loaded with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that work for almost all skin types. The key is to choose the best fruits for the skin and then sit back to let them to do all the work.
HOW - Mix equal amounts of ripe papaya, mangoes and yogurt and apply the mixture evenly on your face. Watch one re-run of your fave show (25-30 mins) and then wash it off with water. Could it be any easier?
WHY - The enzymes in papaya, mainly papain, treat dark spots and blemishes; the vitamin C in mangoes reduces dullness by increasing cell regeneration; and yogurt is a natural moisturizer and gentle bleach that helps with that overall glow and to add a supple feel to your skin.
- The age old ‘multani mitti’ mask
If there’s one age-old remedy that stays our go-to natural skin pack it’s got to be ‘multani mitti’ or Fuller’s Earth. Tried and test over centuries, don’t even think about second-guessing if you want that everyday healthy glow without stripping any natural oils.
HOW – The abso best recipe is to mix 2 tablespoons of multani mitti with 1 tablespoon of honey and a little rose water. Let it form a thick paste and then apply on your face for 20 minutes.
WHY – Multani Mitti is a natural, potent clay that has a great composition of minerals. In fact, both multani mitti and honey individually are amazing ingredients for our skin - together they’re like a dynamite combination for fab skin! Prepare to be stunned. - Aloe vera mask
Who ever says No to aloe?! It’s like the do-it-all, know-it-all of ingredients, right? Well when it comes to your skin, aloe vera really is the mother of all natural ingredients out there. This is the real deal to pamper your skin, if you get the formulation right. Warning: You will get hooked!
HOW - Scoop the gel out of one aloe leaf and empty it into a bowl. Add half a spoon of haldi (turmeric) and drizzle some honey over it. Mix well and apply to your face and leave on for 20 minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water. Apply once at night and once in the morning if you really want that aloe-glow!

- Olive oil mask
This one’s a no brainer if you’ve been battling and picking at those blackheads and just cant seem to make them disappear. Ofcourse, the purer and more virgin the olive oil is, the better your results will be.
HOW - Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl. Squeeze half a lemon and stir in the juice using your finger. Apply it to your face as if you’re giving your skin a good massage. After 25 minutes, wipe it off with a warm, damp cloth. (Do every alternate day for a month if you really want to see a difference)

HOW – Take a bowl and add one cup of avocado pulp. (Mash it incase it’s a little hard when you cut). Peel a banana and mash it separately using the back of a spoon. Toss in the banana to the pulp along with a cup of water. Apply evenly to your face for just 5 minutes and wash it off with warm water after. Voila!
