To cool yourself down on a hot summer afternoon or calm your skin after a steam facial, ice cubes certainly have plenty of skincare benefits. In fact, rubbing a cube of ice before applying makeup allows better application and makes it last longer.
Potato, on the other hand, is packed with skin -benefiting vitamins and nutrients such as vitamin B, C, zinc, niacin and iron. Applying potato juice on marks, scars and blemishes can help lighten and fade them with time. Instead of cutting a potato every time and extracting its juice, try this potato ice cube to get glowing skin. Here’s how you can make it.
You will need:

- One large potato
- 5 spoons milk
- 3-5 drops of lemon essential oil (another skin brightening ingredient, which will also add some fragrance to your potato ice cube)
Method:
Step 01: Cut the potato into small pieces and blend to a pulp.
Step 02: Strain the juice into a bowl and add milk to it. Mix well.
Step 03: Now add a few drops of the lemon essential oil.
Step 04: Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze.
How to use:

Step 01: Take one ice cube in a clean thin cloth or handkerchief.
Step 02: Massage the potato ice cube on the entire face. Ensure that your face is cleansed thoroughly before.
Step 03: Let it stay on your face for at least five minutes; then wash your face with plain water.
Step 04: Use one ice cube every day and you will notice the difference in about 15 days.
Sounds like a lot of efforts? Here's an easy alternative, keep the Lakme Blush & Glow Sheet Mask in the fridge 10-15 minutes before use and let the sheet mask do its magic while your rest.
