Oatmeal and curd
Take three tablespoons of oatmeal and an egg white. Now add a tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of fresh curd. Mix it all well. Now refrigerate the mixture until it becomes cool. Apply it evenly all over your face. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash off.
Oatmeal will absorb all the excess oil from your face and balance the pH level of your skin. Filled with good bacteria, curd will make your skin glow and leave it soft and smooth.
Gram flour and rose water
Add a pinch of turmeric to a teaspoon of gram flour. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon of rose water to form a paste. Apply this all over your face and neck and leave it to dry for 15 minutes before washing it off.
Gram flour has antibacterial properties that fight acne as well as soothe inflamed skin. Lemon juice and turmeric impart a healthy glow while closing your pores and making your skin appear smoother.
Fuller’s earth and rose water
Fuller’s earth aka multani mitti is an ingredient that is highly recommended to those with oily and acne-prone skin, due to its oil-absorbing properties. Mix the two ingredients together and apply the mixture evenly onto your face to get oil-free refreshed skin instantly. Rose water will make your skin feel soft and give it that unmistakable glow.
Sandalwood and turmeric
In a bowl, mix one tablespoon sandalwood powder with half a teaspoon turmeric powder. Add some rose water to form a thick paste. Now apply this pack on your face and neck and relax while it dries. Wash it all off with lukewarm water.
Sandalwood soothes and calms the skin while absorbing excess oil, and turmeric adds a healthy glow.
Honey and lemon
Take the juice of half a lemon and mix it with two spoons of honey. Apply it on cleansed skin and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it all off with water.
