Chitrangada dance moves at Tarun Tahiliani’s show

The dusky dame clad in an extravagant Tarun Tahiliani outfit put on quite a show on the ramp breaking into an impromptu number and getting the designer to join in. Needless to say, social media had a lot more than just the collection to talk about once the show was over!

Manish Malhotra’s Gender Equality show

Taking a stand on the need of the hour, Manish Malhotra’s exquisite designs came with a message of gender equality. With models sashaying down the ramp holding placards addressing gender norms, this show stood out for more than just Manish’s designs and we hope more designers use the ramp to send out a message in the future.

Sabyasachi’s vintage balloon show

We’ve never seen it before and we think it’ll be a while before it happens again—balloons on the ramp at Sabyasachi’s show were the talk of… erm… social media for many days after his opening show. The perfect palate for a 70s inspired collection, this one’s going to be a favourite with most fashion week goers, thanks to all that helium.
