The opening ceremony of the 16th Mumbai Film Festival witnessed a star-studded ensemble paying their tributes to the incredible world of cinema. Such amazing works of film: Richard Linklater's "Boyhood", Xavier Dolan's "Mommy", Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne's "Two Days One Night", Zhang Yimou's "Coming Home", Jean-Luc Godard "Goodbye to Language" and Chaitanya Tamhane's "Court", among others were showcased to film enthusiasts this year. Lighting up the night was a delightful onslaught of all that is so beautiful, glamorous and sophisticated about films. Here are LRT's favourite looks from the opening.
