What Is The Best Time To Eat These 6 Common Foods?

Always thought that if you were hungry you could just hit the refrigerator and eat whatever food came to your hand first? This may have worked during your college days, when you stayed up late to complete all those assignments, but things are obviously changing (for the better) as you grow up.
We’ve listed down the best time to eat each these popular foods to make sure you’re making the most of them.
Bananas give you an instant kick of energy when eaten. While having them for breakfast is a good idea, you could also have one around 4PM to beat the mid-afternoon slump.
Nuts
Best time: For lunch
Consuming a handful of nuts gives your body all the omega-3 fatty acids it needs (this one’s for the vegetarians who don’t eat fish!). However being high on calories, it’s best to eat them during the day so you can burn the calories off.
Meat
Best time: For lunch
Meats are a great source of iron. In order to optimize the iron intake, lunchtime would be ideal to have meat. Avoid having it for dinner as it the amount of time it takes to digest down may hamper your sleep.
Oranges
Best time: Mid day
Oranges boost the digestive system and give your metabolism a sharp kick. However, having them first thing in the morning for breakfast may not be ideal since they are acidic in nature. Instead, have them around 12PM to avoid any stomach discomfort.
Pasta
Best time: Breakfast
You no longer have to wait till evening to have pasta because turns out having it for breakfast is a good thing after all. Why? Because wheat pasta contains fibers that help cleanse your body and remove toxins. So best kept for the morning!
Potatoes
Best time: Breakfast
Another morning munchie—this one’s for the vegetarians! While not exactly french fries for breakfast, but potatoes (aloo slices) are the next best foods! They provide you with all the minerals you’ll need to get through your day.
