How is it used?
All you have to do is anchor the TRX straps to a secure spot (door frame, monkey bars, etc.) and use either your hands or your feet to hold on to the straps. A part of your body will be suspended above ground or you’ll be leaning in a way so as to create resistance and destabilisation. This destabilisation will force your body to adjust in such a way that you’ll be engaging your midsection and back along with your shoulders and hips.
What do you mean portability?
The straps of the TRX suspension trainer roll up nice and easy— which makes it ultra-simple for you can take it anywhere with you. All you need is a someplace stable to serve as your base and you’re good to go. After all, you feel prettiest when you sweat.
TRX is a full body workout
Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do. With the TRX trainer—you’ve got one piece of equipment and endless possibilities. The TRX suspension trainer is infinitely scalable, so no matter where you are on the fitness continuum, you can get a fast, fun and effective total-body workout, anywhere.
Used by trainers, athletes and the U.S. Military
The TRX is integrated into the physical training of all branches of the U.S. military and can also be found in the locker rooms of major league baseball teams, national football league teams, UFC fighters and Olympic level cyclists, swimmers and runners. Those are some big guns to follow.
The training philosophy
Simple movements simultaneously engage the legs, core, shoulders, arms and neck. The body is an interconnected chain of muscles. Every movement we perform is a whole-body movement. That’s why TRX training uses tools and movements that challenge the entire body in every plane of motion. TRX training helps you use minimum effort to get maximum results, using only methods that work.
