Buy some cute workout clothes

The best part of working out? You get to use your fitness journey as an excuse to go to the mall and get some cute clothes. Let’s be real, it’s a great investment that provides the same motivation as a personal trainer! So, go get all the yoga pants, sports bras and trainers that we know you want. After all, if you’re going to be exercising, you might as well look your best while doing it!
Set tangible goals
Just to keep you sane, set small goals, so that you’re not wondering why you don’t have rock hard abs after working out for an hour. By making realistic goals, you’ll be able to stay motivated. The sense of fulfillment that you’ll feel after completing them will keep you going.
Work out with friends

To stop yourself from going through the agony of looking at a timer where each second lasts for what feels like an hour, get some friends to work out with you! This way, time will fly by as you talk about the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians or gossip about that girl in that OTT outfit at the gym.
Try different forms of exercise
Mindset is everything—we know you’re instantly demotivated as soon as you begin thinking about the gym. You associate it with the struggle of pushups, bench presses and cardio. So, to trick yourself into thinking you’re not working out, try something new! It can be bicycling, Zumba or synchronised swimming—anything just to prevent you from falling into a monotonous routine.
Walk everywhere

The most stress-free and practical way of exercising is undoubtedly walking which can help you burn some extra calories as you go about your normal day. There are so many benefits of walking—it seems almost silly not to do it. You also make your daily contribution to helping the environment, get to explore your hometown better and gain the benefits of exercise in the middle of the day—what’s not to like?
Maintain healthy eating habits
This one is seemingly obvious, but you’d be surprised at how many people completely waste the effort that they put into exercising by indulging in junk food. For you lazy girls, this is a no brainer! Eating healthy = less time that has to be spent at the gym.
Use a fitness tracker

A Fitbit or any other tracking device will be a digital version of that naggy best friend who diligently reminds you that you still have to go to the gym. By constantly updating you on your number of steps, calorie consumption and other details that will annoyingly compel you to go the gym, you’ll find yourself working out more often just to gain that satisfying feeling of reaching your daily goal.
