4 beauty trends from Milan Fashion Week we’re obsessed with

The season of fashion has begun! After the Copenhagen, London and New York Fashion Weeks, it’s time for Milan to take the centre stage. Milan managed to create a buzz with some of the most iconic and edgy styles we’ve ever seen. We’re already seeing some new trends emerging from MFW. Here are four of the most prominent beauty trends we spotted during the Milan Fashion Week 2022.

01. Glossy look

From New York to Milan, every designer and artist is loving the sleek hair and dewy skin look. Almost every runway show is centred around flawless looking skin with heaps of glow. Along with dewy skin, slicked back hair is also a big hit this season. We’re equally in love with both these trends. There’s something so high fashion and dominating about the neat hairdos and gleaming skin that can never go out of style.

If you’re also a fan of chic, sleek hair (like us!), try our best bud to achieve shiny hair - the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Hair Serum. We love using this to style our tresses for the softest, shiniest and most manageable hair!

02. Bold lip

Statement lips are everywhere in the Milan Fashion Week. Whether it was a bright red lip or a vampy black shade, bold lip colours were all the rage. Even the street style stars were spotted rocking bold lip colours.

03. Metallic hues

Metallic and shimmery colours on the eyes and cheek were seen everywhere. While this might not be everyone’s cup of tea, if you’re in the mood to experiment, do give this one a try. Metallic hues on deeper skin tones look especially fab. With Y2K making a comeback with frosty shades in every area of makeup, it was only a matter of time before we started seeing metallic eyeshadows again. But hey, we’re not mad at all!

04. Smokey black eyes

Pale face and smokey black eyes were a staple for the Versace display. The models’ entire faces were blanked out and what was prominent was the black eyeshadow. And when we say their faces were blanked out, even their eyebrows were bleached to look invisible.

Get the perfect smokey eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Spotlight Eye Shadow Palette - Smokin Glam. It not only has the standard black everyone’s going gaga over but also, 11 other brilliant shades that will help you create infinite looks.
