When it comes to treating long hair right, Disha Patani can hold a masterclass on that! The stunner loves to wear her hair in long and voluminous ‘dos, and we are so thankful for that. Big, long hair is often seen as a chore to manage and style, but Disha’s penchant for wearing hers in various hairstyles makes us wonder if we can do so as well!

A detail that is even more impressive is that Disha is often her own hairstylist. This means creating hairstyles equipped with just a can of hairspray and sheer will to look cute in a long ‘do. And on her 29th birthday, we are looking at five of such hairstyles that are such fun and easy to create.

01. Y2K chic

Disha belongs to the generation of millennials and probably grew up watching 2000s pop music videos (think JLo and Christina Aguilera!), often loves flaunting hairstyles inspired by the decade. Hopping on the Y2K trend, Disha’s space half-ponytails are too cool to boot! We love the face-framing tendrils in the front — this little detail makes the hairstyle, so fun to wear!

02. Denim waves

Disha loves to pair her seemingly casual outfits with big, wavy hair; we stan a fashionista to put in an effort even for an effortless denim ensemble. To recreate Disha’s voluminous waves, prep your hair with a glossy serum, preferably a keratin-rich formula like the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Hair Serum. Next, put in some bendy waves with the help of a hair straightener and finish with a light hold spray.

03. Baby pomp waves

Let Disha be your guide on how to create curls and waves closer to your roots without having them fall all over the place. Create a side part and a slightly raised pomp in the front to allow the curls to fall on one side. Make sure to secure the front with a medium hold spray, preferably with a thickening formula like the TIGI Bed Head Superstar Queen For A Day to give your parting some weight and body to stay in place.

04. Adorable fountain top

Yet another nostalgic hairdo, but this time going back to the 90s, this adorable fountain top half up half down hairstyle is one of our recent faves from Disha. The hairstyle plays with the layers in her hair so well, with the shortest front layer doubling up as side-swept bangs. So if you have naturally wavy hair, just work some sea salt spray in and wear this ‘do for your fun night out with the girls!

05. Wavy half up half down

If you want to try a high ponytail but wish to add an element of fun to it, use this styling trick from Disha. Simply crimp or curl your hair before styling it in a chic, half-up ponytail. It exudes major beach vibes and looks oh-so-cool.
