Have you been keeping up with the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019? The fourth day of the fashion week saw a downpour of edgy eye makeup looks and stunning braided hairdos—enough to inspire us for the next couple of months. In case you missed what beauty looks and makeup trends were served on the runways on Day 4 of LFW W/F 2019, here is all the beauty dope you need. Take a look...

Yellow lids and pigtails—Tahweave

The colourful striped collection of Tahweave was teamed with vibrant eye makeup. We are totally digging this OTT take on the sunset eye with bright yellow lids and defined eyes with an exaggerated wing. Long hair set in peppy pigtails completed the look.

The eye makeup this season is shaping up to be bolder (quite literally) and Anurag Gupta’s runway was proof. Makeup artist Daniel Bauer gave models a dramatic eye look with a rectangular shaped liner on the lower lid. As for hair, it was woven in intricate French braids and tied in a half-done ponytail at the back.

Soft smokey eye and pulled-back hair—S.W.G.T

In the midst of maximalist eye looks, we spotted an eye makeup look that was absolutely gorgeous and doable for the festive season. Take notes from S.W.G.T’s show on how to pull off the toned down smokey eye with your outfits. Namrata Soni, the makeup maverick behind these looks, styled the models’ hair in a sleek braid and secured it with a broad plastic band.

Another show, another whimsical eye makeup look! On the Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna runway, chic and artistic liners stole the show. We saw feather-edged liners encasing the eyes with a white-rimmed lash line and another futuristic eye look with a stick-on black band acting as a liner. Talk about experimental!

Twisted braids and buns, coral lids and glitter parting—Arpita Mehta/Anushree Reddy

Twisted braids and buns, coral lids and glitter parting—Arpita Mehta/Anushree Reddy

For the ‘Blockbuster Brides’ presented by Lakmé Salon, Arpita Mehta and Anushree Reddy staged their collection. You know what that means for all you winter brides out there—hot beauty trends to watch out for, screenshot and copy for your wedding. We saw different versions of fancy braids and buns that were breathtaking. Makeup was simply gorgeous with fuller lashes, coral lids and glossy lips, but it was the glitter parting that really caught our eye and made us go wow!
