It's a TikTok world, and we're just living in it. From sweeping shades of a rainbow on the face instead of setting our base with a foundation to playing into the illusion of a voluminous updo with a two-step hack, TikTok is swamped with tricks that make our lives easier. It's not a surprise that there's yet another TikTok hack doing the rounds on the internet. What is it all about?

Makeup? Skincare? What is this hack?

MUA Charlotte Hyatt-Willis recently took to TikTok to share with her followers a hack that enhances the appearance of her skin—and, no, it doesn't involve facials, treatments, or the use of foundation. Surprising, no?

The MUA claims that she has pores, texture, blemishes, and history of acne-riddled skin— all of which, to reiterate, are normal.

If your goal is to minimise the amount of makeup products you apply on the face and achieve a seamless, smooth base regardless, this is it for you.

Charlotte starts off by cleansing her face with micellar water or a standard cleanser to eliminate residual makeup, impurities, dirt, and grime from the face. You can use the Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water for the same. The next step is to moisturise the face like you normally would. Ensure you're using a hydrating moisturiser for this step. Follow this up by applying a blurring primer on areas where your pores are most visible and a glowy one on parts of the face you'd like to accentuate—like the cheekbones and temple.

Conclude by applying a little bit of concealer under the eyes as well as on blemishes. It's that simple. And that's how you achieve a glowy, flawless base without foundation!
