Jennifer Lopez has been enjoying a 90s hair renaissance since the past couple of months and we are thoroughly enjoying it. Her most recent hairdo is a voluminous 90s supermodel blowout that will put all other toned down and sleek hairstyles to shame. It reminds us of the 90s beauty look of having big voluminous hair, and everybody from supermodel Cindy Crawford to stars on the smash hit show Baywatch was wearing it. The secret to getting this hairdo lies in perfecting your blow-drying skills and we have a step-by-step guide right here to help you out...

Step 01: Start with slightly damp hair — comb out all the knots and tangles, and spritz some water on your mane from root to the tips.
Step 02: Prep the hair using two styling products — a volumizing spray for the roots and a smoothing spray for the ends. Apply them in small sections and once done, brush out with a cushioned paddle brush to evenly distribute the products through your hair.
Step 03: Next, use a high powered hair dryer, with a wide nozzle attached, and a big, round bristle brush. Before you start styling with the bristle brush, blow-dry your hair downwards for about 30 seconds, bouncing the strands in-between your fingers.
Step 04: With a tail comb, distribute your hair into four equal sections and use crocodile clips to hold them apart.
Step 05: Start blow drying your hair with the bristle brush placed under one section of your hair. Blast the hair in a hot setting downwards, blow-drying it straight till it is 90% dry. Once done, roll up the section in the brush and blow-dry on the cool setting. Focus on lifting the hair from the roots for that glossy and bouncy finish.
Step 06: Once you’re done blow-drying the section, wrap it around your finger in a large coil and secure with a silver hairpin. Dry the rest of the sections and do the same. Keep the hairpins in for 5 minutes to let your hair set in the voluminous waves.
Step 07: Remove the hairpins and shake up your hair. Add some rollers in your hair, placing them under your hair. You can do this in a casual manner as the bends can be manipulated to fall any which way you want. Leave the rollers in for 10-15 minutes to let the waves set.
Step 08: Take the rollers out and brush your hair with a round paddle brush. Tease it with your hands, scrunch it a couple of times to add as much body to it as you can. For the bend in the font, use a tail comb and slightly backcomb near the roots, don’t go all the way to the ends.
Step 09: Last but not the least, tease the front section of your hair to give it that 90s lift. Use a tail comb, lift a section of hair from the front and slightly back comb it and voila — a 90s bombshell blow-out right there!
