Get the look: Tara Sutaria’s all-white look we can’t stop obsessing over

From impressing us as Vinnie in The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir to Mia in Student of the Year and now in her recent portrayal of Ramisa in Tadap, Tara Sutaria has managed to win our hearts time and again. She is not only a stellar actress but also has great taste in fashion and makeup, which we keep gushing over perpetually. A quick scroll through her Instagram feed brought us to this recent post of hers. And no faffing, our heart just skipped a beat! *a (not so)minor crush if we may say so ourselves.* From the stunning white lehenga from Falguni Shane Peacock to her stunning makeup and hair, she looked ethereal. So of course we had to instantly break down the makeup and hair and bring it to you so we can try it out and hope to look just as flawless *fingers crossed*.

Face

Hair

Step #1:  After you’re done cleansing and moisturising your face, start by applying the Lakmé Absolute Undercover Gel Primer. It creates a perfect canvas for makeup by concealing the imperfections and smoothing out your skin.

Step #2: For the base, pick the Lakmé Absolute 3D Cover Foundation which will make your face look silky smooth and has buildable coverage. This foundation doesn’t oxidise or cake, which is perfect for long time wear. Next, blend the Lakmé 9to5 Primer + Matte Liquid Concealer over blemishes and under-eye areas. Set the base with Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact to mattify the face.

Step #3: It’s time to sculpt and highlight the face. Contour the sides of your forehead, cheekbones, jaw and sides of nose for a sharp, sculpted look. Go over your cheekbones, tip of your nose, forehead, browbones and chin with the Lakmé Absolute Liquid Highlighter. Use a tiny amount since we are aiming for luminance not ‘shine’.

Step #5: Finish off with a setting spray, preferably a mattifying one.

Eyes and lips

Hair

Step #1: Prime your eyes and let’s go on with the eye look. Use an eyeshadow palette that has shimmer and matte shades like the Lakmé Absolute Spotlight Eyeshadow Palette - Berry Martini. Pick the bronze shade and apply it to your crease. Then, go for the golden shade and dab it on your eyelids (avoid blending the golden shade to give a pressed shimmer look). Blend the bronze shade into gold to create a cut crease look.

Step #2: For eyeliner, use the Lakmé Eyeconic Liquid Eyeliner and create a thick winged look. Don’t wing it too much and let the wing blend into your lower lash line rather than taking it upwards. Use Lakmé Eyeconic Insta Cool Kajal for your water line, blending it in with the eyeliner. You can even use a black eyeshadow to create a subtle smokey eye look.

Step #3: Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler. Then, apply 2-3 coats of Lakmé Eyeconic Curling Mascara for va-va-voom lashes.

Step #4: Fill in your eyebrows with the Lakmé Absolute 3D Brow Definer to make them look on-fleek like Tara’s.

Step #5: For lips, keep it glossy with the Lakmé Absolute Spotlight Lip Gloss- Creme Caramel

Hair

Hair

Step #1: First, prep your hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Hair Serum. Next,

Step #2: Do a middle parting and gather your hair up in the back for a sleek bun.

Step #3: Once you make the bun, take a toothbrush, apply some hair gel on it and go over with it on your hair to smooth out flyaways and give it a slick, clean look. Adorn your bun with flowers and voila! You’re good to go.
