Spring 2022 hair trends are all about hair accessories, and the first one on our list? Hair clips! No longer for tween-aged girls who needed to put their hair together for school; with the revival of Y2K beauty trends, it's safe to say that hair clips are certified cool, and we've got the looks from Tom Ford and Alice + Olivia to show for it.

A debate that's divided Gen Z-ers and Millennials finally has a verdict — and it's team Gen Z. The runways have declared that the Gen Z-favourite middle part will remain supreme come spring 2022, thanks to the looks spotted at Alberta Ferretti, BOSS and Proenza Schouler.

Call it a nod to the '90s and early '00s, or claim it as the revival of the flat iron — but straight, sleek hair is back, and it's back with a vengeance. From models at the Sergio Hudson show walking with pin-straight and glossy locks, to Versace's straight hair, you can expect spring 2022 hair trends to be all about straight hair. Time to stock up on a good heat protectant!

2021 saw the rise of the braids. We had the bubble braid, the baby bubble braid, the box braids, the dutch braids *catches breath* and more. So, it comes as no surprise that spring 2022 hair trends consist of them too, from Altuzarra's face-framing baby bubble braids, to Studio 189's cute pigtails. We love to see it.

Easily a huge spring 2022 favourite, wearing headscarves is never a bad idea, and the looks at Anna Sui, Dior, and 'Fendace' are proof! While the style has been around for a couple of years now, we're not exaggerating when we say we love this trend more and more each year. Can it just be spring already?!
