First dates are exciting! The rush of spending your evening (or afternoon!) at a cutesy spot opposite a dreamy boy is rarely matched by anything else. Date nights are definitely one of our favourite occasions to deck up for. It is fun to put together a look for a first-date, you wanna look cute but not so dressy that it outshines the whole evening. And hair plays a big part in it too. Given that your date will be spending hours looking at your entire face while you tell them stories of your childhood, you have to nail the hairstyle perfectly. It doesn’t have to be anything too elaborate, just adorable. Here are a few styles that we think will be so good for a fun first date.
- 01. A touch of classic hairdos
- 02. Cute and cuddly
- 03. Bubble braids and more
- 04. Short half up half down
- 05. Clean space buns

You can thank Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist Chris Appleton for bringing back this classic 90s do. Section your hair into two parts, the front section in a deep side part and the rest of the hair pulled back. Set, soften up and add shine to both sections with the TIGI Bed Head After Party Smoothing Cream. Pin the front section at the back of your ear and collect the rest of your hair in a high ponytail.
02. Cute and cuddly

This insanely cute hairdo is the perfect option for someone who wants to leave their hair open, but not have it in their face during the date. Add some subtle waves to your hair for volume and body. Do a half centre part and take a small section of hair in the front to put into dainty ponytails in slim rubber bands.
03. Bubble braids and more

TikTok’s undefeated queen Charli knows a thing or two about cute hairstyles, and this is just one of them! Combining face-framing tendrils in the front with bubble braids in the centre and the rest of the hair let down, this hairstyle has everything going right for it. It is fun and flirty, it can instantly upgrade even the comfiest outfit in your wardrobe.
04. Short half up half down

Just because you are rocking cropped lengths, doesn’t mean you are left with fewer options for a ‘do. This short and sweet half-up and half-down hairdo can be recreated by adding some tight waves in your hair and using a scrunchie to secure the front section on your crown. Pull out loose tendrils in the front to frame your face.
05. Clean space buns

Curly-haired girls who want to keep it low-key on the first day can opt for some cutesy space buns. Prep your hair with lots of serum to keep your hairdo sleek. Pull out some curls from the side of your ear to give the look a bit more character.
