Dealing with dry hair is no easy task. No matter how much moisturising and conditioning you provide to your hair, they tend to remain dry till you’ve treated the problem right from its roots. Dry hair is the result of a lack of nutrition in the scalp which eventually leaves your hair looking dull and lifeless. Dry hair can also be caused by excessive heat treatment that extricates all the moisture from your hair. Here are a few hair masks that will help rejuvenate your dry hair and make them look fabulous again.

Coconut milk and olive oil

This mask has the potential to bring your hair strands back to life in just a single use. Mix a few spoonfuls of coconut milk and olive oil together in a bowl. Apply this mixture onto your scalp and to your hair strands at least an hour before washing your hair.  Coconut milk and olive oil are packed with vitamins A, E, and C that help hydrate dry hair and prevent any further damage. They further also strengthen damaged and thin hair follicles, giving you lush and thick hair.

Aloe vera and cinnamon are perhaps the best combination for replenishing the moisture in your hair. Extract the gel from an aloe leaf and add some finely crushed cinnamon to it. Mix both the ingredients well and apply the concoction onto your hair strands. Let it settle for about half an hour before washing your hair with lukewarm water. This mask helps in hydrating your hair and in providing your hair follicles with a protective coating.

Milk and honey

Add a few spoons of honey to a bowl of milk and mix the ingredients well so as to form an even paste. Apply this paste onto your entire scalp region and to the hair strands an hour before washing your hair. Wash your hair using a gentle shampoo, followed by a conditioner. Milk and honey are both natural humectants and draw a lot of moisture to your hair, making them look strong and lively. Honey also adds extra shine and bounce to your hair.
