01How to use it
You will see a lot of websites claiming that Vaseline promotes hair growth, but this is not true. In fact, we suggest not applying it anywhere close to your scalp as it is difficult to remove. However, you can try using it to revive the shine and gloss in your hair. Part your hair into small sections then take a small amount of Vaseline Original Pure Skin Jelly on your fingers and gently apply it to your locks. Make sure you use only a tiny amount for each section or it will weigh your hair down and make it sticky. You can leave it on for a few hours, some people prefer leaving it overnight. Wash off in the morning with a mild shampoo.
02How to remove it from scalp
One important thing to remember here is that Vaseline is quite difficult to get out of hair, especially if you've used too much of it. A mild shampoo and warm water is the best solution to remove petroleum jelly from your hair. You may have to wash your hair more than once to get rid of the greasy feeling. If your regular shampoo doesn't seem to work add a teaspoon of baking soda to it. If your locks are too dry or frizzy try this method once a week; during winter you can repeat it more often.
