So, you’re going to tie the knot this summer? That’s great! Err, except all the neck sweat and flyways that come with wearing heavy jewellery and bulky outfits in the scorching heat. Since you really can’t run away from lugging those heavy elaborate neckpieces and poufy lehengas around, what you can do is style your hair in a way such that it allows your neck to breathe.

We have here three braided hairdos that you can try and keep the sweaty, stuffy moments away, while also looking breathtakingly beautiful. Read on...

Braided fringes tucked in a ponytail

Braided fringes tucked in a ponytail

A centre-parted, ponytail with braided fringed is as easy on the eyes as it is to pull off on a hot, hot day. Rock this hairdo for your cocktail or throw in a maang tika and wear it as a dainty hairdo on your sangeet night. All you got to do is divide your hair in two sections. Start with one section at a time, braid the hair close to your hairline and add strands as you go. Secure the braid once you reach the crown. Repeat the same with the other section and pull both braids into a mid-high ponytail. Spritz some Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray to keep it in place.

Bubble braid

This side swept bubble braids is totally manageable and oh-so-pretty. When adorned with tiny flowers, this makes for a perfect summer hairdo for brides. To get this hairdo, start by create a side parting and make a fishtail braid of around 6-7 inches on the bigger side. Secure with a hair tie and keep adding hair ties after every couple of inches along the braid till the end. Place tiny white flowers on the hair ties to finish the look.

It is chic, edgy and yet so stunning. Create a centre-parting for your hair and braid a small section from above the ear, close to the hairline.
