You will need:
- Bobby pins
- Hair tie
- Paddle brush
Steps to make a low bun:
Step 1: Start by brushing your hair to loosen out all the tangles.
Step 2: Next, create a neat centre part. Apply a little bit of hair serum to the ends of your hair to make them more manageable and easy to style.
Step 3: Then secure your hair in a low pony tail at the nape of your neck. This will form the foundation your ponytail, so ensure that the placement of your pony is exactly where you want your bun to be.
Step 4: Tighten your ponytail by pulling it apart. This will push the hair tie farther behind and create some extra volume at the top of your head. This is a great idea if you have fine hair and it will also give the look a more relaxed vibe.
Step 5: Next make a braid starting from the hair tie all the way down. You can make three strand braid by dividing your hair in three sections or try a fishtail braid, depending on you want your bun to look.
Step 6: Then take the braid and wrap it around the base of your ponytail and secure it in place using bobby pins.
Step 7: Pull out a few strands from the crown area for some added texture.
