Spring is here… and summer is soon to follow! And, do you know what’s the most exciting part about this season? Apart from switching my wardrobe from sweatshirts to relaxed cotton clothing, the beauty junkie in me is also super stoked to switch my makeup routine, as well as, give my hairstyles a summery twist.

Talking about hairstyles, the most common and loved of them all is ponytails. PERIOD! But, wearing your hair in a regular ponytail can get boring. It is, therefore, time to give your ponytail a modern twist. From bubble to rope, ponytails are getting a major update this season. Here’s proof!

How to give your regular ponytail a spring twist, you ask? A bubble ponytail can be your best bet. Start with a regular low ponytail and then update it into a cute bubble ponytail. Make a pouf at the crown and leave a few face-framing strands for added oomph.

Let’s admit it! With spring on in full swing, you want to prep your hair for the harsh sunny weather that is soon to follow. Here’s a perky hairstyle that screams spring—low ponytail with a braided twist is anything but basic. It instantly takes your glamour quotient a notch higher and at the same time keeps hair off your sweaty neck.

Complement your easy-breezy vibrant outfits with an ultra-chic hairstyle this spring. If you love ponytails, then we suggest you ditch the regular one for a mohawk ponytail. The braid detailing at the centre of your head can add just the right amount of glam to your look.

What’s the easiest way to amp up a ponytail, you ask? Try using a pretty silk scarf as a hair accessory to secure your ponytail. It is sure to look effortless and at the same time, uber-stylish. After pulling all your hair together into a regular ponytail, grab a scarf and tie it around the elastic all the way till the middle of your ponytail. Voila!

Another super cool and edgy way to update your regular sleek ponytail is to give it an angled Dutch braid twist. Create a thick braid starting from the centre of your forehead all the way to the back of your head, till the nape of your neck. Pull the rest of your hair together into a sleek ponytail. Cute and chic… we love!
