Mondays are for bright lined eyes

You’re not in school when absolutely nothing was allowed. Nor are you in office when corporate dressing seems like a snooze fest. Mondays in college are for days when you see your crush back in campus while you indulge in the ultimate goss exchange session with your BFFs. So what better time than this to throw in some colour to welcome Monday! Line up your eyes with a bright kohl or liner—a perfect blue or an emerald green works well for this look. You don’t want to do anything more to the look ‘coz we know it—you’re a tad too lazy after a sleepy Sunday, aren’t you?

Tuesdays are for the good ol’ winged eye

Monday’s over so the initial lethargy is out. This is a good time to experiment just a wee bit with the winged eye. Take cues from Audrey Hepburn on how to rock it with a top knot and use a glossy eyeliner to draw a simple cat eye on both your eyes. Caution—this one might take a bit of your time so makes sense to wake up a little earlier than usual, unless you’re the Blake Lively of college who likes to get there fashionably late!

Wednesdays are for bold, bright lashes

Barely two days to the weekend! Know what that means? Let your excitement translate into makeup. Take the colourful route and surprise your friends by colouring your lashes in a bright shade. Keep the rest of your face bare but make sure you apply dollops of mascara to your lashes.

Thursdays are for doubling the drama

Thursdays are for runway makeup looks alright. Make way for a double winged eye for this day. You can either create one wing using a deep black liner and the other using a metallic coloured liner or keep both the same colour. Try this makeup look in advance unless you have a chemistry class that you’d rather miss than attend!

Fridays are for a pop of pink

It’s time to go all out with makeup looks because #TGIF, right? This is when you want to try a bright eyeshadow—like a Millennial Pink. It’s the trend du jour, after all! A makeup tip would be to use a nude shade of eyeshadow as a base and then going in with a bright pink eyeshadow on each of the eyelids. Use a blending brush to ensure there are no harsh edges and ta da! Friday’s look is so sorted!

Saturdays are for sexy smokey eyes

It’s Saturday and if you aren’t heading to a party later in the evening, you aren’t doing it right. As a part of prepping, make way for smokey eyes—try black and brown. An effective makeup tip would be to avoid going too dark because that’d mean OTT makeup and while you do want to be party ready, you don’t want to look too out of place in college.
