If you find that your foundation is a little too dark, all you need to do is take a little of it on the back of your hand, and then add a dab of moisturizer to it. Finishing powder is usually lighter than your foundation, and so, is a great solution to make dark foundation lighter. Once you've applied your foundation, apply some finishing powder over it. By doing this, you'll lighten the pigmentation of the foundation. However, be sure to only use finishing powder, and not bronzer or any other powder you've set aside for contouring.
