Lemon and carrots

Grate a few carrots or mash them in a grinder. Add a few spoons of lemon juice to the mashed carrots and mix well to form a thick paste. Apply this as a face pack and leave it to settle for about half an hour. You can clean the mask with a soft towel dipped in lukewarm water. This would slightly exfoliate your skin and give you better results. Carrots attract all the pollutants settled in your pores and help unclog dirt and sebum. The anti-bacterial properties of lemon help reverse the harmful effects of chemicals on your skin and gives you a cleaner finish!


Cucumber and rose water

Aloe vera and sandalwood

Grate a cucumber and add a few spoons of rose water to it. You can use this mixture as a scrub or pat a layer of it on your face. Leave it untouched so your face can absorb most of the moisture and nutrition from the cucumber and rose water. This mask also soothes your skin and gives it a refreshing boost that makes your skin look clean and clear. It cleans any dirt and grime on your face making your skin look fairer and healthier.

Peel an aloe vera leaf and extract all the gel out of it. Mix some sandalwood powder and milk in one bowl and add the extracted aloe gel to the mixture. Apply this as a face mask and leave it to dry for about 10 to 15 minutes. It will completely detox your skin giving you a fresh complexion. Aloe vera adds an extra protective layer on your skin that will prevent further damage to your skin. It also acts as a shield to the UV rays of the sun and prevents accumulation of pollutants in your pores.
