If you’re someone who loves indulging in a DIY facial, we have a treat for you… a rose facial you can make at home using ingredients from your pantry. Yep, you read that right.

An at-home facial ensures zero chemical use, which means no irritation or redness. Great, isn’t it? So without wasting any more time, let’s get started with this DIY goodness.

Step 01: Steam

Step 01: Steam

The first step of any facial is taking steam to open up the pores. Add a few drops of rose essential oil to a large bowl of boiling water and allow the steam to work its magic. You can even add fresh rose petals if you don’t have rose essential oil.

Step 02: Scrub

Step 02: Scrub

Now that your pores are open, it is time to remove all the dirt by scrubbing your skin. For this, take ground almond paste, add a spoon of sugar and fresh milk cream to it. Crush a few rose petals and add that to the paste. Now, scrub your face in gentle circular motions for a few minutes, then wipe off.

Step 03: Massage

Step 03: Massage

Now that the dead skin layer has been taken off your skin, it will absorb products better and look healthy and glowing. Massaging your skin also improves blood circulation. To massage your face make a paste of 1 tablespoon yogurt, crushed petals of one rose, 1 teaspoon honey and a few drops of vitamin E oil. Gently massage this paste on your face and neck for 10 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water.

Step 04: Face mask

Step 04: Face mask

Last but not the least, apply a face mask, relax and allow the goodness of rose in this face mask to give you that youthful glow. Grind a few rose petals to form a paste, add 2 tablespoon of sandalwood powder and few drops of rose water to form a paste-like consistency. Apply evenly all over face and wash off after 15-20 minutes to reveal fresh, glowing skin.
