We’re teaching you how you can give yourself a spa-like experience at home with this easy-peasy, at-home beauty routine. It’s simple, therapeutic and won’t cause a dent in your bank account. So, keep scrolling and learn how to have the best pamper sesh ever!
Hair care
Start with your hair care routine. Wash your hair first so any product stuck on your skin will be removed after your skincare routine.
1. Hair wash

Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and conditioner. Don’t be too aggressive while washing your scalp and gently massage the shampoo on your skin using your fingertips. Be mindful to not use your nails for this process. Once the shampoo has been rinsed off, condition your hair with a moisturising shampoo to keep the ends of your hair soft and frizz-free.
Our favourite duo for pamper days is the Love Beauty & Planet Natural Argan Oil & Lavender Anti-Frizz Shampoo And Conditioner. This lavender-infused duo battles any dryness, frizz and calms you from within with the soothing lavender aroma.
2. Mask

After hair wash, leave your hair damp and apply a hair mask. Go for the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Deep Smoothing Mask for the smoothest hair ever. This keratin enriched formula makes hair shinier, softer, manageable and stronger. Start by applying it from your scalp to tips and comb through to disperse the product evenly. Keep it on for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. If you have oily hair, you can skip the conditioner before applying a hair mask.
Skincare
Next comes skincare so all the remainder of hair products from your skin is gone and your skin gets the best.
1. Cleanse

Always start with a clean slate. Start by cleansing your skin with a mild face wash like the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash. The mild formula is gentle on the skin and effectively washes away dirt, grime and bacteria. Rinse it off and pat dry your skin.
2. Mask

Now it’s time to use a clay mask to draw out all the impurities. Slather on a generous amount of a clay mask like the Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C Clay Mask. The kaolin clay and bentonite clay mix in the formula pull out the stubbornest impurities and leave your skin feeling soft and clean. It also leaves your skin looking bright with the vitamin C enriched in the formula. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with normal water.
3. Moisturise

Clay masks can feel drying, after all, they wash off excess sebum from the skin. Don’t forget to add some moisture back into your skin with a deeply nourishing moisturiser like the Lakmé Absolute Hydra Pro Gel Creme. If you’re doing this routine during the night, pick the Lakmé Absolute Hydra Pro Overnight Gel. Both these moisturisers ensure up to 72 hours of hydration to keep your skin soft and supple.
Hands and feet
Finally, pamper yourself with an at-home mani and pedi session.
1. Exfoliate

After all the hair wash and skincare, start by scrubbing your hands and feet with your favourite skin. This will banish all dead cells from the top of your skin, get rid of uneven tan lines and make your skin softer.
2. Paint

Next, apply your preferred shade of nail paint all over your nails. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different shades on different fingers. When you’re doing everything at home, you can unleash your creativity and experiment as much as you like.
Check out the Lakmé Color Crush Nail Art range that comes with 37 shades, with a variety of glittery top coats, pastels, nudes and deep shades. These are also extremely long-lasting and don’t start chipping for days.
3. Moisturise

And ultimately, end your day with body lotion. Use a heavy-duty body lotion like the Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Body Lotion and apply it all over your feet, legs and arms. Give your hands a lil something special with the Lakmé Hand & Nail Cream With Mulberry. This cutesy product smells absolutely divine and keeps your hands baby soft.
