And while we are sure you will religiously follow a cleansing-toning-moisturising routine to keep your face glowing during Summer, it is equally important to give your feet some TLC on a daily basis. Your feet need some extra care and attention to look their best after a long and tiring Summer day.
We’ve got some easy-peasy DIY foot scrubs to help you pamper your feet. Here’s how you can prepare them...

Baking soda foot scrub
A long and tiring day calls for a much-needed feet pampering sesh! To get rid of dull skin and rough spots, soak worn-out soles in a gentle baking soda bath. All you need to do is dissolve 3 tablespoons of baking soda in warm water and soak for about 20 minutes. Want to exfoliate your feet further? Simply make a paste with three parts baking soda to one part water and scrub very gently.
Sugar and honey foot scrub
Give your feet a dose of hydration with this homemade scrub. Mix 1/4th cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 2 tablespoons honey and 3 drops of peppermint essential oil together. Next, massage the scrub into your feet using firm strokes for about 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Lastly, dry your feet completely with towel. Scrub at least once a month for effective results.
Coconut oil and salt scrub
Let’s admit it! Stepping out with cracked feet can be very embarrassing. Precisely why, you need to pamper them once a while. For rejuvenated feet, prepare a scrub by mixing together one cup Epsom salt, 1/4th cup coconut oil and 3-4 drops of any essential oil of your choice. Scrub your feet gently with the mixture for 20 minutes and see the magic it does in making your feet super smooth.
Coffee ground foot scrub
A shout-out to all you coffee lovers out there! Did you know? Your feet love coffee just as much as you do. To prepare this foot scrub, all you need to do is mix 2 tablespoons coffee grounds, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Apply this thick paste all over your feet and massage for 15-20 minutes before rinsing. This DIY foot scrub helps to enhance the texture of the skin on your feet.
Oatmeal foot scrub
Mix 2 tablespoons bath salt with 2 teaspoons oatmeal, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 2-3 tablespoons water. Apply the mixture to your feet and scrub for 10 minutes. Oatmeal makes for a great exfoliator, and when combined with bath salt and baking soda, it softens the skin on your feet and soothes rashes and itches.
